Special Instructions - Fall 17

The College of Biological Science is currently in discussions with the Director of Undergraduate Curriculum's office regarding the possibility of implementing a change to the IBIO 4500/4510 courses for the Fall 17 semester. With that, students cannot enroll in IBIO 4500/4510 at this time. With course selection starting we have implemented a revised strategy for students to enroll in these courses. The process is outlined below.

1. Student will need to complete the departmental registration form with the faculty they wish to work with
2. The student will take the departmental form, along with the university's course waiver request form to Dr. Fu (Course Co-ordinator)
3. Dr. Fu will retain these forms until we have confirmed the changes for the research courses
4. Once a decision has been made regarding the research courses, you will be added to the appropriate course, by the B.Sc. Academic Counselling Centre
5. The students and faculty will be notified which course they have been enrolled in
This process also applies for those wishing to add IBIO 4521/2

Students in the Human Kinetics major that are scheduled to take Human Anatomy (HK 3401 or HK 3501) in the Fall 17 semester are able to register as usual using WebAdvisor. Instructor Consent will not be required for HK students in Fall 17. Please note that desired lab times cannot be guaranteed. Additional spaces will be made available each day that a Course Selection Windown opens. If all sections are temporarily full, please continue to monitor WebAdvisor.

Students in the Bio-Medical Science major who wish to apply for Human Anatomy in Fall 17 should come to the B.Sc. Academic Counselling Centre and complete a Course Waiver Request form. Please register for your other Fall 17 courses first, and bring a copy of your class schedule with you. Registrations will then be handled manually based on your cumulative average, once space availability has been determined, and will likely continue on an on-going basis until the end of the Summer semester.
